Waaaaaaay back in the dark ages before there was cable... they had these things called antennas-----lol.

Guess I still live in the dark ages, where I live I can not get cable... so I have one of these!!! i can usually watch 4 channels... ABC,NBC,CBS,PBS.... woo hoo.... go me!!!

lol When I first moved to where I am now,
we couldn't get cable.
We could barely get the regular 4 channels.
It was cheaper for us to get satellite TV than cable.

I have been told that where I live... there is no point in getting satellite either.... i literally live in the middle of the woods. They told me that they would have to put the dish on the top of one of the trees.... these trees are TALL!!!!

I literally live in the middle of the woods too.
Fortunately, my dad cut a big enough hole
where our house is so we didn't quite have to do that.
The tallest trees close enough to possibly affect it
are dogwoods and pines, and they're easy to get out of the way.
